Hey there! I'm Amanda Martin, a junior at UNC Charlotte with roots in Philadelphia, PA. I’m currently majoring in Marketing with a minor in Journalism, but my passion and career goal is to break into the exciting world of sports.
These past two summers (2024 & 2025), I had the incredible opportunity to intern with Reading United AC, a local soccer club. During my time there, I dove deep into the inner workings of the sports industry, learning about the workflow before and after a game, and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
I’m thrilled to be starting a new chapter in Fall 2024, where I’ll be a photography intern for Charlotte Athletics and a creative designer for UREC. I will also be continuing in these roles through 2025. Through these roles, I have been actively immersed in game-day workflow on the athletics side. I have also been introduced to asset & project management within my creative designer position.
I’m always looking to learn more and grow, and I can’t wait to see where this journey in sports takes me!
